Where's Waldo: The Summer Chronicles

Things seem a wee bit snug at this Japanese wave pool. (via Bifurcated Rivets)

Before it was demolished in 1993, the Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong was said to be the most densely populated spot on the planet, housing 50,000 people in just 0.026 km2, giving it a population density of 1,900,000 / km2. More amazing photos at deputydog, and a much more detailed history on Wikipedia. (via J-Walk)

You thought your beach was crowded? An estimated 200,000 Chinese crowded onto this popular resort (from a story printed last August, but still...)
