A bit off the beaten path here, but I've been kinda diggin' on the 2008 album Elephant Power from MC Yogi, who fuses Indian devotional songs with hip-hop beats and breaks. Even if you're the kind of person that says "I hate that 'rap' stuff", give a listen. It's all very positive stuff and there are some greak hooks within. Here are a couple of tracks you might like.
