When Milk Goes Bad
An Ohio woman was arrested Monday night for running around the neighborhood in some sort of a cow costume, chasing children, blocking traffic, peeing in public... You know. All the things a cow would normally do, I suppose.
She also wore the cow suit to court for her sentencing on Tuesday.

On the bright side, it's much more refreshing than a shower of hot lead
He had been sneaking around like a noir hero for two and a half weeks, finding new and shadowy exits to his regular places. He was tired from lack of sleep, and while it was early yet, he was looking forward to a stiff cocktail when he got upstairs.
But first he had to get there alive. He parked his car a couple of blocks away and started the treacherous walk, his only friend of late tucked under his black shirt, a curiously damp bulge.
His yellow-and-orange Uzi-style squirt gun.
Welcome to the shadowy, wet world of squirt-gun assassins.

Cute vs Cute
Two kitten pictures I found today that were really cute. If this were a baby kitty cute-off, which one would be taking home the trophy?

Time of My Life
Dan Hanna has taken two photos of himself (from two cameras mounted 180 degrees apart) everyday for the past 17 years.
It is designed so that the cameras make one full revolution around him every 365 days. The apparatus that he built to mount and move the camera is pretty ingenious and is described here. (via kottke.org)

It's an 8-bit world
Would you wear an 8-bit tie?
Play a little 8-bit paintball?
Appreciate some 8-bit art?
I'm not sure if this is considered 8-bit exactly, but it definitely falls under the "Old Skool" heading: MIDI files! At FreeMIDI.org, not only can you rock out to Black Flag, or hum along with your favorite TV theme song, you have a rare opportunity to learn an obscure national anthem like Qatar's or Finland's! All while sounding like it's being channeled through your circa 1982 Atari 2600!

Hue Test
Drag and drop the colors in each row to arrange them by hue order. Like in golf, the lower the score the better. Who can beat my mighty 38? (via Geek Like Me)
Generate colors that "go with" any color you create at ColorBlender.
You say you can't tell your Paris Greens from your Oxford Blues? Have no idea what chartreuse is? You can learn a lot from the NBS-ISCC Dictionaries of Color Names, which are comprised of thirteen dictionaries ranging from page-turners like the Plochere Color System to the racy Dye Colors to that snooze-fest, the Soil Color Chart. Link to the Color Name Dictionaries.

It's not often you get to see facial dandruff
I'm not sure how many people they're fooling with this, but this is a good gallery of face hairstyles.

What Are The Odds?
An incoming freshman at Michigan State University this year was assigned to the same room as his father, a Michigan State freshman 30 years earlier. USA Today linked to the story Tuesday, and asked, “Anyone care to figure out the odds of this happening?”
Someone has, and the numbers might surprise you.

How versatile! It's a wall-mounted candleholder! It's a wall-mounted vase! It's creepy either way!
I am not a lawyer, but I am pretty sure serving your dinner guests drinks with these Skull & Crossbones Coasters give you permission to add in any poison you want and get off scot-free, legal-wise. Hey, it's not like they weren't warned...
