Move over Greys, here come Cheese and Pepper aliens

Like I said, it's a commercial of a woman eating a steaming hot cup of soup in the middle of the snowy tundra (what, is there a microwave over in that snowbank?) visited by dit-dit-ditting cheese and pepper aliens that shoot flavorings out of their hands. What do you mean it doesn't make any sense? (via Japan Probe)

Itsy Bitsy Cutesy Nazi

The Axis of Adorable
Danish artist Nina Maria Kleivan seeks to explore the meaning of evil by photographing her baby dressed as evil men from recent history. I think Baby Stalin needs a diaper change...

Bat Boy, where are you when we need you most?

Weekly World News is no longer on the newsstands, and it's not just because it failed to qualify as "news". Sadly, the weekly rag ceased publication years ago, and was perhaps best known for its breathless headlines of impending mayhem ("900 Doomsday Asteroids Hurtling Towards Earth!"), the frequent appearance of the truly freaky-looking Bat Boy (or his cuter cousin Poodle Boy), and pretty much weekly photos of either Heaven, Hell, or angels.

You can revisit it all at Google Books' Weekly World News archives going back to 1985, lovingly scanned for your perusal.

Now wait just one rassa-frassin' minute! Uh-huh. That's right. I used the R-Word.

If Yosemite Sam's Curses Were Considered Real Profanity And Were Dubbed Over For Television In The Same Clumsy, Unconvincing Manner As 1980's R-Rated Movies

For example:
Original Version: Get outta there, you rassa-frassin' fur-bearin' critter!
Censored Version: Get outta there, you wrestle-freezing, forebearing creature!

They may want to rethink their new ad campaign: Toyota - There's No Stopping Us Now!

I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather... Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.

In the market for a new car? Are you considering capitalizing on Toyota's current woes by scooping up a deal on one of their products?

Why not give the Toyota Simulator a little test drive first?

It's five syllables/ Then followed by seven more/ Then another five

You bought the haiku tee, yukked it up over the computer error haiku page, regularly visit the cat and zombie haiku sites and even keep tabs on the weather in Haiku, Hawaii (currently 72 and partly cloudy).

So what's a haiku junkie to do if that's not enough?

I'll tell you what. Godzilla haiku, that's what.

OK, Go Watch This... Now

OK Go has given me yet another reason to love them (seriously guys, you had me at "treadmill").

Their latest video, "This Too Shall Pass", features a Rube Goldberg contraption operated by the members of the band. It was built by Synn Labs. Adam Sadowsky of Syyn Labs wrote:

When the rock band OK Go, famous for their viral videos including the spectacular and award winning "treadmills video", wanted to feature a 4-minute long Rube Goldberg Machine in an upcoming video, they tapped Syyn Labs to build it. The requirements were that it had to be interesting, not "overbuilt" or too technology-heavy, and easy to follow. The machine also had to be built on a shoestring budget, synchronize with beats and lyrics in the music and end on time over a 3.5 minute song, play a part of the song, and be filmed in one shot. To make things more challenging still, the space chosen was divided into two floors and the machine would use both.

Other than the vicious vampire attack, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
