I'm a sucker for a pop song with strings. Guess that's why I was a big ELO geek back in high school. Today we have a Pop/string two-fer, both from approximately the same time period.
Lenny Kravitz - It Ain't Over Til It's Over, released this as a single almost exactly 20 years ago, on June 6, 1991 from the album Mama Said. Lots of Philly Soul lushness and a killer bassline.
